Election Integrity
Votes matter. All and only legal votes matter. Illegal votes disenfranchise all Missourians, no matter where they live. Policies, processes, and protections should be updated, by statute, and in the Constitution, to ensure election integrity. Recent, profound cases of fraud in Missouri should be a warning to always stay vigilant. Election integrity is only as good as the people who administer those elections. Election authorities, poll workers, and political volunteers need clear, comprehensive, definitive laws and statutes behind them to buoy Missourian’s confidence in vote results, especially close elections. To ensure free, fair, and transparent elections, reforms should include:
Government-issued Photo ID required to vote, in person, or absentee
Paper Only Ballots - No devices with internet capabilities
No mailing of ballots or absentee applications, except for requests ONLY BY the voter according to existing statutes
Poll Watchers/Challengers given clear, unencumbered views to observe the vote process at precinct polls and election authority HQ
External Ballot Boxes video monitored and limited to Election Authority property, if they exist at all
Our Republic deserves it. Your enfranchisement demands it.
